OPL is a small, independent company that has dedicated much of its time
over the past fifteen years to the developing, testing and fine-tuning its physically-based Hypermatter software. Its specialist field is the precision modelling of the dynamics of soft, elastically deforming objects for use in the computer animation industry, and in real-time applications, including games, simulated realities.
Other related areas of research include contact and collision algorithms and high-level constraint mechanisms relating to the general dynamics or both soft and rigid objects.More recently, OPL has been developing its ‘Physical Component' technologies, based on HyperMatter, that enable simple machines and vehicles to be built from physically-based components.
In Spring 2011we will be releasing a high-end plug-in for use with Autodesk's Maya 2011 and 2012 computer animation products, and in the Summer of 2011 we will be making our HyperMatter SDK available to third party developers for use in games and other real-time applications..
OPL's web-site, artwork, graphics and animations are designed and created by Mr Hossein Tehrani.
OPL is the developer and licensor of Hypermatter software and HyperMatter for Maya software. Hypermatter is a registered trademark of OPL.
